Hope for San Diego offers one place to care for and invest in our under-served neighbors. Together, we can welcome the stranger, love the abandoned, rescue the oppressed, and heal the broken.

Local Church Partnerships
Servant Church, Logan Heights
In October 2023, we announced our partnership with a local PCA church serving the community of Greater Logan Heights near downtown San Diego. One of our desires is to see communities throughout greater San Diego saturated with churches that are committed to loving and serving their neighbors in ways that reflect the heart of the gospel and model the love of Christ. And Servant Church, our new church partner, is setting the pace in doing just that.
Since 2016, Servant Church of San Diego has been committed to loving and serving Greater Logan Heights. Located just southeast of downtown San Diego, Greater Logan Heights is one of the city's most historical, diverse, and populated communities. Its 40,000 residents are a diverse blend of Hispanics, African-Americans, and other ethnicities, and its six distinct neighborhoods are a dynamic mix of industry, art, commerce, and housing. Beyond worship, discipleship, and evangelism, Servant Church also serves its community through two of its own ministries. Alma Community Care is their separate non-profit that brings professional mental health help with spiritual care to our community’s families. And STRONG Youth Outreach helps its community’s youth become strong persons who form strong relationships and build a strong community.
Servant Church is led by Pastor Chris Sandoval while Alma Community Care is led by his wife Carrie Anne.
