Paul Yoon

MUSIC DIRECTOR

Born and raised in the Korean Immigrant church community of San Diego, Paul left the comforts of home soon after receiving his bachelor’s degree to experience God in new ways and to better understand God’s purpose for his life. Throughout his time in South Korea, the Pacific Northwest, and Texas, God has shown Paul a faithfulness and an unrelenting love that he’s never known. After ten years away, Paul has come back home to San Diego to serve the local church and be closer to his family.

Paul serves as the Music Director at Trinity. Paul considers it a privilege to lead the church into singing praise to God and always looks forward to “making a joyful noise” together week after week. He hopes that his passion for music and worship encourages the church to seek and hunger for God.

Paul has a music degree from San Diego State University. As a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Paul is passionate about performing, writing, and recording/producing music. He also loves California burritos, cats, coffee and, most of all, his wife Kristen.
